About me:

I research the foraging and spatial ecology of marine predators, particularly seabirds.

I love wild and windy remote islands.

Currently I am a Research Associate in the Seabird Oceanography Lab and the GEMM lab based at Oregon State University's Hatfield Marine Science Center.  I did my PhD in Ocean Sciences at the University of California Santa Cruz, where I studied the winter foraging ecology of three seabird species in the Bering Sea and North Pacific: black-legged kittiwakes, red-legged kittiwakes and thick-billed murres.
