About me:

I research the foraging and spatial ecology of marine predators, particularly seabirds.

I love wild and windy remote islands.

I am an Assistant Profesor at Oregon State University and co-PI of the Seabird Oceanography Lab. My postdoc was with Rob Suryan and Leigh Torres (GEMM lab) and based at Oregon State University's Hatfield Marine Science Center.  I earned my Ph.D. in Ocean Sciences at the University of California Santa Cruz, where I studied the winter foraging ecology of three seabird species in the Bering Sea and North Pacific: black-legged kittiwakes, red-legged kittiwakes, and thick-billed murres.
